Tenebrio larvae (Tenebrio molitor), also known as mealworms, are one of the most common live foods used to feed birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians and medium-sized arthropods. Although they are very commonly used, preference should be given to using healthier foods when feeding your pet(s).

- Box of 1kg.
Feed on organic matter such as fruit and vegetables. The use of wheat bran as a substrate also contributes to feeding the larvae. A rich and balanced diet for Tenebrio larvae means top quality live food for your animal.
A few days before using the Tenebrio larvae to feed your pet, it is advisable to gut-load them with Repashy SuperLoad. Before using Tenebrio larvae as food for your pet, we also recommend sprinkling them with Nutri-Cal.
Store at a temperature between 8ºC and 25ºC. It is possible to lower the metabolic rate of Tenebrio larvae by lowering their temperature. During the summer, pay close attention to the temperature as it is one of the main causes of death of this live food.
They should be kept in a dry, dark and airy place. The height of the substrate should be no more than 3cm. You can keep Tenebrio larvae in a container such as Braplast boxes.
