Guiding Principles

The main objective of this policy is to strengthen the relationship of trust and proximity between Vivum and its customers. It also aims to demonstrate transparency in the processing of collected data and inform all customers of their rights and how they can exercise them as personal data subjects.

Vivum operates in strict compliance with the principles described in this policy, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR), and applicable data protection legislation in all processes involving the processing of personal data.

Data Protection

We use various measures aimed at ensuring the security of the information collected, the protection of personal data, preventing unauthorized use, alteration or access, unauthorized disclosure, loss, or destruction.

As a data subject, the customer has the right to know what data is collected and stored, as well as to modify it in the customer area and request its export or deletion from the store.

The Data We Collect

I. Customer Registration or Purchase

When registering or making a purchase at Vivum, the following data is collected: email, name, address, postal code, city, phone number, and tax ID. The data collected through the customer purchase process will be automatically processed and is intended for handling orders, such as order shipment or invoice issuance.

II. Newsletter

When subscribing to Vivum's Newsletter, the following data is collected: name and email.

III. Contact Form

Vivum may also request personal data in contact forms, namely, name, email, and other information that the visitor provides to us.

IV. Browsing on Vivum

Data related to browsing the store is also always collected. Examples of this type of data include device and browser information, network information, and IP address.

Purpose of Data Collection

Personal data is collected and processed to fulfill the following purposes:

Service Provision:

• Compliance with tax obligations;
• Order shipment;
• Order processing;
• Billing;
• Problem resolution such as cancellation, product returns, or refund of the value of products and/or service in accordance with current law;
• Customer support: answering questions about products, how Vivum works, or any other query requested by the customer;

Direct Marketing (e.g., email marketing):

To keep the customer updated on order status or any news at Vivum, we may send emails and/or SMS with commercial communications regarding offers, products, or campaigns, as well as thematic content and information about the processing of registered orders.

For marketing purposes, at Vivum we may consider and use certain data such as products viewed, products in the wishlist, or left in an abandoned cart.

Marketing communications are made after and with the prior consent of the customer.

In any and all cases, Vivum seeks to ensure that the information and data collected and used are adequate for the described purposes and do not constitute an invasion of the customer's privacy.

When We Collect Data

Data is collected when there is a customer registration at Vivum, newsletter subscription, contact form completion, order registration, or during browsing in the store.

Your Rights and How to Exercise Them

The personal data subject has the right, at any time, to request access, rectification, opposition, export, and/or deletion, as well as the right not to be subject to automated decisions.

The customer can exercise any of these rights with Vivum by submitting a request sent to the following address: apoiocliente@vivum.pt.

The customer can also file a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD).

Data Retention

Vivum is obligated to retain information for tax and audit purposes in accordance with current law.

Vivum stores your data due to specific requirements and practices inherent to Vivum and its sector of activity, or until the customer requests that they be removed from the database. The data subject may, at any time, request to access, rectify, or delete their personal data by sending an email to apoiocliente@vivum.pt.

If the customer registers with Vivum, they can verify, edit, or delete their personal information at any time from the customer area in Vivum.

At the customer's request, Vivum can change certain customer data associated with registered orders.

Data Sharing

Vivum does not assign or sell any type of personal data to another entity beyond those necessary for the functioning of the service. Personal data will also not be used for any other purpose without the proper consent of the data subject. Any third party with which the customer's data may be shared is obligated to use it exclusively as a way to execute the proper functioning of its service on behalf of Vivum.

Vivum may also disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as in compliance with court orders that require it or when certain actions violate the Terms and Conditions of the business.

Cookies

Vivum uses cookies on the site. The cookies used do not collect information that identifies the visitor, but rather about how they interact with the store's website. The data collected is used for statistical purposes, service provision, and improvement of the user experience.
